When Steve and Joanna Vernetti bought Larchmont’s favorite Italian restaurant, Girasole, they were eager to bring a family dream to fruition. They were passionate about embracing the restaurant’s loyal customers while putting Chef Steve’s mark on the menu, modernizing the space and its design aesthetic to better serve the community. We guided them through a complicated and potentially volatile permitting process as they expanded the space, helping them forge relationships with key decision-makers at City Hall, with Larchmont Village businesses, and in the surrounding neighborhoods. We rolled out a launch campaign, securing important placements with local media. Vernetti’s “old school meets new school Italian” menu and all the buzz surrounding the restaurant has brought in discerning diners from all over Los Angeles.
